Squarespace Basics: Text Highlight

This is a feature I have been waiting for - Text Highlight! Text Highlight allows you to add additional emphasis to your text, sentences, and whole paragraphs. This means you can now underline, cross out, circle, and more in several ways and even animate.

I would have loved to have this feature for years but I have just been using a workaround waiting and hoping this would finally come as a true feature. As always, Squarespace delivered and added even more than I could imagine.

This new feature appears on the text toolbar. Look for this icon.

These are the primary features added to highlight text. Squarespace allows further customization by giving you the ability to change the thickness and color of these emphasis lines. You can animate and change the speed that the feature appears.
