Simply adding an Events Page to your website helps to highlight upcoming events for your business or organization. A website is a 24/7 welcome to prospective members or clients and current members or clients. You will not be there to guide visitors through your website so make it easy to navigate. By creating an Events Page, you point the visitor to upcoming dates that they can quickly add to their calendar. Squarespace makes setting up and managing an Events Page user friendly.

Adding an Events Page to your website

  1. Begin in the Home Menu

  2. Click Pages

  3. Click the + sign beside the Main Navigation Menu or Beside the Not Linked Menu

  4. Choose a layout. This layout can be changed later.

  5. Enter the title of the Page.

If your website is already public, you may want to begin creating a new page under the Not Linked menu so visitors will not see the page until it is complete. You can either add the Events Page in the Main Navigation menu and drag the page below the Not Linked menu or create the page in the Not Linked menu. Once the page is ready for visitors, simply drag it up to the Main Navigation menu.
