How to Easily Push your Blog to Social Media
Squarespace allows you to publish your blogs and push them to social media networks with just the press of one button.
When you run a business or a nonprofit you are hard at work doing the task at hand. It’s hard enough to keep up with the everyday activities but when you blog and then must push to different social media outlets that even more time consuming.
Squarespace has made this easy with the press of just one button. Each website has the ability to have a built-in blog page or more than one if you need that. You can:
Create posts
Tag and Categorize posts
Enable comments
Add SEO
Push your post to social media
Adding a Blog Page to your website
Home Menu/Pages
Select + sign to the right of the Main Navigation
Under Collections section select Blog
Creating a Blog Post
Home Menu/Pages/Blog
Select the + sign to the right of the Blog page
It will open Blog and have you “Enter a post title…”
The body of the blog is the text block that we have come accustomed to in Squarespace. You can add text, images, video, etc.
Categorizing Blogs with Categories and Tags

Once the Blog has been created you can choose which social media outlets to automatically send you blog.
First you need to set up your social links:
Home Menu/Settings/Social Links
Select the area to add a social link
Once your social links have been added you can go into each blog and choose which social links to send the blog. Once you publish the blog it will publish to your Squarespace website and the social links you selected.
To the right of your blog select the three dots.
Select Settings
Select Share
Enable to social media networks that you would like your blog to be pushed out to.
