Coffee and Keyboards
I sent my first newsletter out to current, past and prospective clients, family, and friends last week. My husband came home and said he read and liked my newsletter but asked why I had pictures with coffee and keyboards.
To me having coffee with friends is very relaxing. I kick back, talk, and laugh. Any frustration or worry I have just melts away. My friend Aimee and I have solved all the world problems sitting at IHOP while I drink coffee and she drinks orange juice. My friend Becky and I used to go to First Watch, drink coffee and have deep conversations but now that she moved many states away we FaceTime and share a cup of coffee.
When I meet with clients, I want them to feel like they are talking with a friend. I want to hear their hopes and dreams about their business and website. If I understand them and their business, I can make them the website they want and need. Just like sitting with one of my friends talking I want my client to be relaxed and at ease. Websites are overwhelming and if you have never started one sometimes you don’t know where to begin. I am able to guide my clients through the process.
Starting a new business or bringing an already existing business online is stressful. There are so many things to consider. I have a checklist for myself and my client. The client sets the deadlines, and we plan accordingly. My hope is that my client can continue or start their business as I build them the website they have already envisioned.
So, if you question why there are always pictures of coffee and keyboards - that’s what I’m about. I must confess that I cannot have more than one cup of caffeinated coffee a day but there is always room for decaf and I’m also the kind of person who adds pumpkin flavoring all year round.
If you need a website or an updated website for a new or existing business or non-profit organization let’s talk. If you aren’t a coffee drinker that’s ok. Your drink of choice is fine with me. I love designing websites and creating exactly what my client envisions for their business or organization.
